I have been a part of the Health Institute program since my freshman year. Being in the Health Institute has given me so many great experiences that have opened my eye to what you can do in the medical field. Thanks to the Health Institute, I have had the chance to see the cities of the east coast such as New York, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C.

Being in Health Institute, we volunteer at Community Regional Medical Center in downtown Fresno. In my experiences at hospital, I have had the chance to observe in the operating room, stock in the ICU/burn department, and also work in the volunteering pool which consist of many different tasks such as discharging patients or delivering something to a different department.
